Art Gallery Group coordinates our annual Art Gallery which is open to members and friends of the Fellowship.  The Group is and has been led for a number of years by Andrea Morrison. The particulars about the gallery for 2019 are as follows:

  • Bring art to Fellowship Hall between 12:15 and 1:00 -- Sunday, January 27, 2019
  • Help hang art 1:00-4:00 -- Wednesday, February 6
  • Opening Reception after the 11:00 service -- Sunday, February 10
  • Art Gallery closes and art should be picked up between 12:15 and 1:00 -- Sunday, March 31.  If you can't be there, you should arrange for someone to pick up your work for you.  If you can't, you will need to pick up their artwork as soon as possible.  See Cathy or Caron for location of stored art.

Please have all art to be hung - framed and ready with a wire hanger. Please no “alligator” hangers. Pottery, fiber, sculptures, wood working, decorative painting, jewelry, etc. are also welcome.  Hanging art this year will be limited to 3(three) pieces per entrant and the  longest dimension may not be greater than 36 inches.  These conditions are because the new chairs take up more room.  Children, youth and adults are invited to submit artwork that they or someone else created. Forms are available online here to print and complete in advance. Forms will also be at the receiving tables the day you bring in your art.

Entries can be for sale or not. No commission will be taken for sold artwork. People who wish to purchase artwork will contact the owners directly and mark the identification tags with their names and SOLD.  They must pay the owners before the closing date.

If your items are not for sale, you will need to estimate the value of the artwork. There is no insurance provided, but all care is taken to assure safety of the artwork.

Everyone is urged to bring refreshments on Sunday, February 10 for the reception. Contact or call the office if you can help set up, serve or clean up.
