Today we hear the story of a family who all mourn in different ways, and experience a beautiful ritual to honor emotions of grief. Join us today to find the solace and comfort that comes when we have stories, images and practices to hold grief, together.
Service led by Lianne McCray, who grew up at UUFWS and is now professionally a chaplain and facilitator of healing rituals and workshops on grief, recovery from eating disorders, birthing and personal growth at large.
Worship Leader: Lianne McCray
Worship Associate: Marcia Chamberlain
Don’t forget to join us after the service for a Wonder-filled Coffee Hour!
Our 9:15AM Sunday Worship Service is multigenerational offered in-person only. An online worship service is offered at 11AM.
New here? Join us after the service. Directions provided at the end of the service.
All ages Worship together at 9:15 am during this year of story-themed Sunday Services.
Families will find worship enhancers (drawing/coloring materials, sensory items, noise-reducing headphones, etc) in the back section of the sanctuary. Although folks may sit wherever they choose, we have intentionally created a welcoming area for families with younger children in the Window Alcove. There you will find a low table with child-sized chairs, drawing/coloring materials, soft toys, and a couple of soft rocker chairs. This area will be staffed with an experienced caregiver who can assist families during Worship.
