Come discuss ingenious, elegant, simple (and not-so-simple) solutions to reduce carbon emissions and heal the planet! We have the solutions to stop global warming– what are they and how can we get those solutions implemented?
We will continue our conversation about buildings and cities this month. In particular we will focus on walk-able cities, bike infrastructure, and water distribution.
We’ll be using the book: “Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming,” edited by Paul Hawken. Each monthly discussion will focus on a “climate fix’ to drawdown the carbon in the atmosphere. See the schedule below. Bring your friends. The public is welcome. “Book sharing” is available. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
If you don’t have the book, visit their website for excellent chapter summaries.
