Banned Book, Banned Author, and the broader themes of censorship, resilience, and the transformative power of storytelling. This novel’s exploration of truth, exile, and free expression resonates deeply with UUFWS’s commitment to justice, human rights, and the celebration of diverse voices.

We invite you to come and explore “The Forum,” an adult educational presentation and discussion group held both in person and online at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Winston-Salem each Sunday from 9:15 – 10:30 am.

Topics include current events, books, travel, community action, careers, social issues and more. Each event usually begins with a presentation, followed by friendly and lively discussion.

Guests and visitors are welcome. Just show up ready to think, listen and participate as much or as little as you wish. Each week’s topic and presenter are generally announced 2-4 weeks in advance.

Gathering and informal conversation begins at 9:00 am. The presentation/discussion begins at 9:15 am.

To attend in person: 4055 Robinhood Road, Winston-Salem, in the Emerson Thoreau rooms. Enter the main doors, go left and continue down to the end of the hall.
