Forum: Future of Agriculture and Food Nutrition with Jim Hanes

February 8 @ 9:15 am - 10:30 am

Event Series (See All)

Jim Hanes will discuss an alternative approach to agriculture—called regenerative agriculture—that reduces pollution, pulls carbon dioxide out of the air, and produces more nutritious, better-tasting food without increasing costs. It works by restoring living soils, allowing biology to replace many chemical inputs while improving resilience and profitability for farmers. Healthier soils lead to healthier crops, which in turn support longer, more productive human lives by reducing chronic disease and environmental toxins. This is not experimental or ideological—it’s proven, scalable, and limited mainly by outdated incentives, not by science or economics.
