Forum – A Buzzworthy Garden: Supporting Pollinators with Kathy Johnson

April 12 @ 9:15 am - 10:30 am

Event Series (See All)

Pollinators are in decline throughout the world and consequently, so are birds and other wildlife. We will explore the different forms of pollination, how to meet the needs of pollinators, and highlight plants that are especially valuable and easy to grow in North Carolina gardens.

Meet us in the Emerson/Thoreau Rooms or join us online here –> https://uufws.org/virtual-forum

We invite you to come and explore “The Forum,” an adult educational presentation and discussion group held both in person and online at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Winston-Salem each Sunday from 9:15 – 10:30 am.

Topics include current events, books, travel, community action, careers, social issues and more. Each event usually begins with a presentation, followed by friendly and lively discussion.

Guests and visitors are welcome. Just show up ready to think, listen and participate as much or as little as you wish. Each week’s topic and presenter are generally announced 2-4 weeks in advance.

Gathering and informal conversation begins at 9:00 am. The presentation/discussion begins at 9:15 am.

To attend in person: 4055 Robinhood Road, Winston-Salem, in the Big Classroom (Emerson Thoreau). Enter the main doors, go left and continue down to the end of the hall.
