Join us monthly, on the fourth Friday of each month, for a casual lunch and discussion at Kimono Japanese Restaurant. It’s a fun way to meet others interested in humanism.
The Humanism Lunch Bunch is an extension of our Humanism with Heart program, a discussion and service group that is guided by the principles of Humanism, a progressive philosophy of life that, without supernaturalism, encourages us to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that are guided by reason, inspired by compassion, and informed by experience. Humanism and Unitarian Universalism (UU) share a long history, with several UU ministers having helped write the three iterations of the Humanist Manifesto. Come and explore with others the full diversity of today’s modern Humanism, which encompasses religious, secular, and spiritual perspectives.
