KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
Many federal agents who participated in immigration arrests in 2025 did not identify themselves when they first approached or showed a warrant signed by a judge. But all law enforcement agents, from any agency, must, under the Fourth Amendment, present a valid search or arrest warrant signed by a judge that identifies the specific person and address before being granted entry to a private area of any residence or establishment.
