Flourish is one of our SAC/Serve the Community partners.  This program provides a great way to build relationships in our community in sync with our strategic plan.

Flourish is a one-year financial education and holistic wellness program designed to help women with low income achieve financial self-sufficiency. Flourish is where financial empowerment meets whole-person wellness.

Recognizing that stress and trauma accompany life with low income, Flourish takes an innovative approach to empowerment: linking program participants to practical financial, career development, and healthcare resources; cultivating community across socio-economic differences; and providing access to mental health resources.

Flourish is a community-building program that features weekly meetings where people from diverse backgrounds and financial situations focus on whole-person wellness and building mutual relationships.

Flourish recognizes that most of our society expects low-income populations to overcome systemic obstacles on their own. Yet, their perspectives, gifts, and knowledge are almost always overlooked by those with power to change systemic issues.

We exist to establish grassroots communities and collaborate with a network of community resource providers, civic organizations, faith-based groups, individuals, and businesses to change the economic reality in in Forsyth County.
