Songs in the Key of Humanity - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said that “music is the universal language of humankind.” Music can transcend cultural and linguistic barriers to convey emotion and communicate effectively, and neuroscience tells us that many of the brain areas that process language also process music. The talented chamber ensemble Elektra Winds and Rev. Lisa will jointly explore the questions in this special musical service.

Our Sunday School program, which we refer to as “Religious Education” or “RE” for short, offers children the opportunity to explore Unitarian Universalism in a caring, supportive environment. Children begin in the Worship Service with their families for the Story for All Ages and are then 'sung out' to join their classes in the Religious Education rooms.

Please join Caron Armstrong, Membership Manager, in the Welcome Room on Sundays after the service for a newcomer gathering. These informal gatherings are scheduled after all Sunday worship services. The purpose is to meet the minister, Fellowship members, and other newcomers to get some quick questions answered and get to know each other. Light snacks will be provided.

Families with children and youth (all ages - infants through high school seniors) are asked to attend this important meeting where we will review program opportunities, plan family holiday events, complete annual registration forms, and review our updated Safety Policies and Procedures. *** Families with Middle School youth are asked to remain until 3:15 PM so that we can specifically discuss the components of the Coming of Age program which they will participate in this year.
