Meet the New Congregational Administrator!
Dear UUFWS Members and Friends,
We are delighted to share with you the news that we have found our new fulltime Congregational Administrator for the Fellowship.
Lea Henderson Lagesse comes to us with incredible experience in financial administration, as well as creatively finding opportunities for non-profits and local businesses. We look forward to having her financial and organizational skills ground and clarify our administrative work. We’re also excited by the directions her creative problem-solving might lead us as we grow in our capacity to live out our mission.
Most recently, Lea worked for two local non-profit organizations, serving as the Volunteer & Collaboration Coordinator for City With Dwellings, and the Director of Development for Triad Pride Performing Arts. Prior to this, she was the Hospital Administrator of a Veterinary Hospital for over six years. She cares deeply about her community, and is a long-time volunteer to many local performing arts groups.
We were impressed with Lea’s orientation as a life-long learner, and the many continuing education courses and certificate programs she’s taken to stay ahead of the curve with her administrative capacities. Lea in turn appreciated our dedication to growth and education, as well as our liberal religious values and emphasis on community engagement.
Her first day will be November 15th, and she’ll be receiving orientations her first week on the job. We hope you’ll join us in welcoming Lea to our Fellowship when you meet her!
With Gratitude and Joy,
