Care Team Equipment Sharing Program

“We all need somebody to lean on” says the song. But sometimes we also need some thing to improve our mobility or need help with our physical challenges.

That’s why the Care Team has initiated “Lean On Me,” an opportunity for UUs to share medical equipment they no longer need with others who can use it.

We have started a list of items, such as wheelchairs, walkers, grab bars, commodes, and a hospital bed. The Fellowship building has two wheelchairs and a walker, but there’s no place to store any more equipment, so donors would hold on to their items until someone requested them, and then arrange for their pickup or delivery.
