May 16: THE PAST
Unitarian and Universalist history with an emphasis on Judeo-Christian roots. This will be a short lecture-style presentation followed by Q&A.
May 17: THE PRESENT
More recent history including the merger of Unitarianism and Universalism, the Fellowship Movement + trends in UUs regionally/nationally/globally, focusing on intersections with Christianity. What’s the current status of religious institutions today, and how does that related to the growth/lack of decline of UUism? This will be a short lecture-style presentation followed by Q&A.
