Successful Summer

The UUs of WS did a great job of preparing and providing lunches to the students at Sunnyside Freedom School this summer. We loved gathering together to prepare the meals and serve them the next day to the students.

If you missed this opportunity there are 2 upcoming opportunities to feed our community.

Flourish is a program of the ShalomProject to help women move out of poverty. We provided meal this Spring of ’22 and they have asked us to provide a dinner again on these dates: October 3, December 5, February 6, April 3.

City With Dwellings provides shelter for the homeless in WS, and we have provided meals for them at Augsberg Lutheran Church..
