After some “on-the-job” training, Watchful Shepherds use indoor and outdoor checklists to inspect the safety and security features of the Fellowship. They check to see that all doors are properly secured, egress aisles are clear, and that fire extinguishers, First Aid kits, and the Defibrillator are in place and in working order. During the Service they stand at the ready to respond to potentially dangerous situations. Two Watchful Shepherds are on duty each Sunday. The assignment starts at 10:00 AM and ends after the Service and you would be needed about once a month. No experience necessary. Contact safecongregations@uufws.org if you are interested in joining.
