Please join family and friends of Donna Schmid for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 29th, at 1pm in the Fellowship Hall or online.

Donna died peacefully in the evening on Sunday, March 31st. She was a pillar of our early Fellowship. Her son Herman Schmid recalls, “Mom was a member of the Fellowship since 1960. She was a past president and involved, along with her late husband, Herman “Ernie” Schmid, in almost every Fellowship event, affair or committee over their many years. Simply put, they both loved the people of the Fellowship and drew daily strength and meaning from it.”

Donna is named by so many as the person who welcomed them to the Fellowship first. She was a joyous, loving, dedicated individual who cared so deeply about our Fellowship. It is thanks in no small part to Donna that a culture of a deeply welcoming and joy-filled community continues to be who we are today.
