SAC Sunday Afternoon Coffeehouse

June 30 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This afternoon of entertainment is in honor of the UUFWS SAC teams for all the good work our membership does for and will do for Winston-Salem. We will conclude Pride Month 2024, and kick off our UUFWS involvement with the Forsyth Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF).  Come find out how you can help us launch our participation in the WS IAF.

Our opening act is Jasil Olabode, a composer, musician, and generative artist from Bloomington, IL. He is currently working on an advanced degree at the UNCSA in composition.

Headliner, Tiffany Thompson, award-winning local songwriter, singer, and writer, speaker and community leader whose mission is to promote human flourishing will sing for us.

After a short intermission our own Steve Jones, Steve Lawing, Ann Zimmerman, and Marcia Chamberlain will entertain us with music and poetry readings.

Bring a dish, and/or a beverage to share. Coffee, tea, and water will be available. Donations are welcomed.

Hosted and sponsored by the UUFWS Coffeehouse Team and the Social Action Council, held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Winston Salem.
