First Friday Potluck and BINGO

The Fellowship’s First Friday Potlucks are wonderful times to feast, socialize, and have fun as one community. Everyone is invited, including visitors and guests. All ages are welcome, including children and babies, making this a heartwarming inter-generational event.

Potluck dining has been in the Foyer for years, but we’ve moved out of the Foyer for increased safety and to maximize accessibility. Potlucks are self-governing – and rely on those who attend to help with either setup, cleanup, or breakdown. Please show up prepared to pitch in, especially with this shift back to Fellowship Hall setup and takedown. We need YOU!

The Potluck organizers would like to encourage people to bring more main dishes if they are able, to ensure there is enough food for everyone. During these colder months let’s show off our favorite comfort foods!

After dinner, stay for an extra helping of fun with BINGO! Everyone is welcome to join in this free event and chances to win prizes.

Schedule of Events:

  • 5:30 pm: Potluck setup begins
Contact Steve T. or Pat B. at potluck@uufws.org if you can help with heavy lifting and shifting!
  • 6:00 pm: Serving begins
  • 7:00 pm: Potluck Cleanup in the Kitchen (helpers needed) and BINGO Begins

This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know your fellow members, or to check out the Fellowship as a friend or guest. And to continue gathering in our increasingly busy building, we need to hear from YOU about helping with furniture moving and kitchen help.

Wondering how much to bring?

A nice rule of thumb is 4 generous servings of your dish for each member of your party. This assumes that, on average, each person will bring and eat 4 servings (main, 2 side dishes, and dessert, for example). Show off your cooking skills or grab something from a store or restaurant. It’s a casual event so come as you are.
