Rush Hour Haiku at Pilot Mountain
Skip the traditional rush hour for something different. Come with your favorite writing and drawing tools! On this moderate-paced hike, you will be guided through the process of deepening your experience with nature.
Mileage for these walks will be 3-6 miles depending on who is attending. We’ll be on trails at the base of the mountain. Closed-toed hiking shoes are recommended (waterproof if we’ve had recent rain). At the end of our hike, you will have about 30 minutes to sit with your journals or you can skip the writing part for an early departure. Your creative expression doesn’t need to be shared if you decide to stay.
Meet at the visitors center at 8:45 am. We’ll head out by 9 am. Please be sure to register so you can receive any updates.
