You Are Not Alone – A Caregivers Support Group
This in-person support group is for anyone who cares for a loved one.
Anyone who cares for a loved one is our definition of “caregiver” for this group!
A “support group” is to provide a safe and confidential space for people to share their experiences, feelings, and challenges while caring for a loved one.
Support group members will receive support from others who can relate. Members can share their personal stories and coping strategies and learn from other member’s experiences.
The group will be facilitated by one of our lay ministers with 13 years of experience as a support group facilitator. They are a retired Gerontologist and Dementia Care Professional, and a Master Trainer for PAC (Positive Approach to Care) as well as “the Best Friends Approach to Alzheimer’s”.
